This cute pup needs a forever home!

One of our wonderful patients needs a new home to call his. Cash is a loving and happy 7 year old neutered male half Chihuahua, half Dachshund that is ready to give someone all the love he can! He was rescued from a high kill shelter and is currently being fostered in Scotts Valley. This adorable little guy is 13 lbs and best friend material to the right home! Cash is currently up to date on all his vaccines, micro chipped, neutered, and has great over all health! His mouth is squeaky clean due to the dental cleaning he recently had done here at Capitola Veterinary Hospital by Dr. River May. Cash is house trained and crate trained as well making it easy for him to move right on in with his new family! He would however prefer if he was the only pet in the family. Although Cash has an excellent temperament, the Dachshund in him tends to want to chase cats. He loves spending time at the dog parks and playing with other dogs, but would prefer the undivided attention at home.

Cash loves to play with kids! He has always been very patient and gentle with them and overall loves their company. He would also be a great companion for a senior that can give him all their attention. Cash’s favorite game is fetch and he would love to have a family that wants to take walks every day. Although Cash has energy, he knows how to melt your heart by snuggling up close to you and showing you all  his love. He’s very smart and understands basic commands and can be taught to learn just about any trick. His adventurous attitude makes for a perfect companion on any adventure!

If you are at all interested in Cash and feel like you have a special place in your heart for him, please contact us and we can put you in touch with his current guardian.
